The Australian National Chemistry Quiz is an annual competition with a distinctly international flavour attracting over 115 thousand entries from 17 countries. 208 students from Canberra Grammar School entered the quiz. 37 scored credits, 43 gained distinctions and 55 were awarded high distinctions.

In addition 6 boys were placed in the top 1% of candidates and will now receive an award of excellence from the Headmaster.
