Tuesday was a special day this week in Kindergarten. We all came together with lots of mums (and a dad, and a nana!) in a big circle in the GP room for a day of Christmas craft. Kindergarten are going to be beautiful angels in Southside's Christmas concert so we decided to make our very own calico Christmas angels. First we put our fine motor skills to the ultimate challenge as we used our scissors to cut the calico into a length of fringed strips for our angel's body. Once our angel bodies and heads were together, the fun began! We chose from a magnificent range of Christmas ribbon, star garland, stars and netting to decorate our angels, making each one unique and special. Our choir of angels are now hanging in our classrooms in a rainbow of colour before we wrap them to give to our loved ones on Christmas morning.
