On Wednesday 27th September the ELC children 'tiptoed through the tulips' at this year's Floriade. After an exciting bus journey to Commonwealth Park the children enjoyed the beautiful flower displays, a tent showcasing costumes made out of plant life, jugglers and street performers, an interactive area set up especially for children by students of the CIT and a picnic lunch under the dogwood trees. Everyone particularly enjoyed watching our talented Northside friends performing songs on the Floriade stage! The ELC was particularly fortunate to have lots of wonderful parent helpers on the day and the children returned to school happy and with a bit more 'Spring' in their step!
