Following the popularity of previous Spring Concerts we will be presenting two identical concerts this year to give as many families and friends the opportunity to be in the audience.

Both concerts have been designed to showcase the enormous talent of our students as well as demonstrating the scope of the Combined Canberra Grammar School's Music Program.

Canberra Grammar rower Nick Barnier and Sasha Belonogoff from Rockhampton claimed Bronze in the Junior Men's Double Sculls at the World Rowing Champinships. They came in behind Germany and Lithuania.

Both rowers are coached by CGS teacher Jaime Fernandez.

Fergus Pragnell (03) also won a Bronze medal in the open men's coxed pair at the same world championships.

Current Australian champion Taylor Wilczynski from Tasmania achieved Bronze in the Junior Men's Single Scull.

Old Boy William Hall, is holding a photographic exhibition in the CGS Gallery next year on the theme of Fathers and Sons.

He is seeking volunteer fathers and sons of all ages to be the subjects of the photographs. Participants will be rewarded for their time and effort with a free portrait print from the shoot and the chance to be immortalised and share in this project.
