World Junior Championships

Congratulations to Nick Barnier, Year 12, who has been selected in the Men's Junior 2X to represent Australia at the World Junior Championships in Austria in July. The selection process was very exhausting and difficult lasting several days and at times over several races per day. Nick handled himself with great maturity and raced extremely well. He will be joined in the double by a boy from Rockhampton who is attending JCU at present and will come to Canberra to train with Nick. Mr Jaime Fernandez has also been selected as the coach of this crew.
