The CGSRA has been established for many years as a group of CGS parents and friends who wish to support rugby at CGS. Our objective is to provide assistance to the Masters in Charge of Rugby in both the Senior and Junior Schools, the coaches and the players to ensure every CGS rugby player has the opportunity to enjoy the sport and play at their chosen level.

The aim of the CGSRA is to be as open and inclusive as possible. To achieve this aim every parent of a CGS rugby player is granted de-facto member status of the CGSRA. This status enables any parent/s of rugby players to contribute towards discussion and vote on any motion put during CGSRA meetings, regardless of previous involvement or input.

The CGSRA enjoys a cooperative working relationship with the School to foster rugby and support the school rugby community. One of the primary areas of contribution is the area of fund raising. In 2006 the CSGRA raised over $25,000. These funds are used to further rugby at the School, with initiatives such as the specialist coaching program.

We have a range of supporters clothing which everyone is welcome to purchase. Attached here rugby_clothing is the order form so you can check out the range and prices. You can fax the form back to me (on 6292 0109) or come to the van at the next home game and feel the quality! Payment is by cash, cheque or bank transfer.

Last remaining home game for 2008 will be on 26 July. The Rugby Presentation Evening will be on August 27.
