P&F ACTIVITIES FOR 2007Welcome to New Parents Cocktail Party - 20 February 2007. A great way to make welcome all new parents and friends to the School. Enjoy a great evening of making friends and connections in the beautiful Quadrangle.Senior School Careers Night - 21 March 2007. This is an evening where boys in Years 10-12 are provided with a selection of presentations on different careers. Presenters are drawn from our Parents and Friends' Community and if you feel that you can contribute, please contact the Careers Counsellor, Dr Robert Bearlin on 6260 9786. Annual Fete and Major Raffle - 31 March 2007. The focus of our year in terms of both fund-raising and friend-raising, the annual Fete is held in autumn each year.This is a splendid opportunity for everyone to become involved. Helpers of all descriptions are required beforehand and on the day. No offer of assistance is ever refused! We encourage you to volunteer your skills to the Fete Convenor, or to watch for Fete announcements on this website. This is a great way for new parents to become involved early in the year and make new friends quickly. Year 11 Interview Day - 24 May 2007. This is an opportunity for Year 11 boys to 'apply for a job, be interviewed and debriefed on their performances'. Interviewers are drawn from the Parents and Friends’ Community and local Canberra recruitment companies and if you feel that you can contribute, please contact the Careers Counsellor Dr Robert Bearlin on 6260 9786. Athletics Carnival date to be advised. The P&F usually run a BBQ for the boys at this event. If you can cook sausages, etc, why not volunteer an hour of your time. Boarders Brunch date to be advised.The P&F provides the food and drink for the Boarders to prepare themselves a sumptuous brunch. Year 6 Leavers Breakfast Term 4 date to be advised. The P&F provides a breakfast for the Year 6 boys and their parents with Year 5 Parents traditionally providing the cooking skills. Year 12 Leavers Breakfast Term 3 date to be advised. The P&F provides a breakfast for the Year 12 boys with Year 12 Parents traditionally providing the cooking skills. Art Show Term 4 date to be advised. This year the Art Show will be conducted in Term 4 and will be a very special event with a Cocktail Party on opening night and a fine selection of art for sale. If you have the skills and/or experience in coordinating or conducting a similar event we would love to hear from you now.
