The Senior School is where Canberra Grammar Boys grow into great young men. We are committed to creating an environment that gives all students access to excellent teachers, facilities and an unrivalled range of opportunities. We seek to give each boy a well-rounded education, with every opportunity to reach his potential and to be well prepared for a successful and fulfilling life after school.
The Senior School is a diverse community, encompassing boys from many different cultures and religions. This diversity enables boys to learn in an environment that represents our globalised world. We want each boy to grow in his understanding of the values of acceptance and open-mindedness in his relationships with others. The Senior School consists of boys in Years 7 to 12, with our House structure providing for smaller groups within these years.
We hold close relationships with Canberra Girls Grammar School through music, drama and House activities, providing opportunities for boys to socialise and develop friendships.
Underpinning all these facets is a level of care that defines Canberra Grammar as a unique school that understands all boys are different, and that each boy is valued for his unique capacity to contribute to the life of this special school in the nation’s capital.
