Actors of all shapes sizes, and experience have exciting co-curricular opportunities in Drama throughout the year. Boys may audition for plays in Terms 1, 2 and 4. Plays usually have cast sizes from between 10 and 30 and often include girls from Canberra Girls Grammar School.
If boys love the theatre but are not interested in stage roles, the Drama Department also holds training courses for technical crew. Lighting and Sound boys are needed for a number of School activities held in the Performing Arts Centre in addition to working on particular productions.
Opportunities also exist to support productions through front of house activities. Selling tickets, serving interval drinks and ushering. Other exciting opportunities for co-curricular Drama students include the Mindmatters Drama Festival and the Showpod.
