Counsellor
Complementing and working closely with the Enrichment Team is the Primary School Counsellor who is dedicated to assisting Primary School students and families. Our counsellor is available to students to listen to their challenges, help them to find solutions and equip them with the necessary skills to face complexities independently.
Defence School Transition Aide
The Defence School Transition Aide (DSTA) works within the Primary School to support students of Defence families. Employed as a member of Canberra Grammar's staff, this position is funded by the Department of Defence through the Defence Community Organisation. The DSTA contributes to the development of a supportive educational environment for families of Australian Defence Force personnel, assisting children to manage the absence from home of a parent and assisting children and families new to the School to develop a sense of belonging.
