The Parents and Friends (P & F) Association is a wonderful way of engaging with the Canberra Grammar School community, and most excitingly, getting involved with the immediate life of the School. The P & F meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month during term at the School. We meet at 7:00pm for light refreshments, with the meeting starting at 7:30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The Association arranges a number of social functions, including the Year 6 and 12 Leavers' Breakfasts; Canberra Grammar School traditions run by parents in Years 6 and 12 to celebrate the graduation of their sons and peers. The P & F also runs Senior School year group parent dinners, held in Terms 1 and 2. These evenings include a Year 12 cocktail party, a Year 7 dinner, and a Years 8-11 dinner.
This year the P & F Association has raised funds for a range of projects including: fitout and landscaping of the new Primary Resource Centre; the refurbishment of the Dining Hall and some niceties for the Boarding Houses.
If you are a current or past parent or guardian you are automatically a member of the P & F. We welcome any offers to help - you don't need to be a committee member to do so!
