| Under 9 Blue draw against Vikings Black |
|
Grammar
Blue played with a depleted team on Saturday. Many thanks to Vikings
for loaning us a player. Despite this, the boys put on a pleasing
display of Rugby, using strong defense and improved passing skills. The boys continue to improve playing as a team and the talk on the
field is testament to the growing comradery of the boys. Jay Lindsay had a great defensive game and revelled in the Captaincy role scoring his maiden try. Trent Storen and Nick Greenberg continue to be evasive in offense, and Albert Bain and Patrick were strong in defense, as always. Mitchell Fuller was awesome in running forward and involving his team mates to the best advantage. Franklin Percy is growing in enthusiasm every game and is becoming a vital part of the team. Kristan Weereratne had his best game of the season with some great runs for the try line and playing an important role as Hooker. Charlie Templeman showed his true character, returning to the field despite some injuries, and continued to play his part in a great team effort. Final Score 25 - 25 Great work boys, see you Saturday! |
