Grammar U9 Blue had an exceptional game on Saturday morning. The team
was focused and prepared to play from the moment they arrived at the
field. The boys had an exceptional defensive game. There were many
heart-stopping moments close to their own line where the team worked
together to successfully fend off point scoring opportunities by the
opposition. The talk on the field was testament to the growing team
mentality among the boys.
William Mueller led strongly as the
captain. Franklin Percy and Eddie Haines has great games, their
confidence growing with every match. Trent Storen had another strong
game, as did Nick Greenberg. Charlie Templeman maintains his positive
attitude on the field and Mitchell Fuller continually ran the ball
forward. Albert Bain made some great defensive and offensive runs, as
Jay Lindsay returned to his great running form. David Foote performed
all over the field and made continual contributions.
