The 9As headed down to Gowrie to take on the might of the Tuggeranong Valley. In a fast and furius opening to the match Tim Greer was almost unstoppable. Within a couple of minutes he had scored a double and quickly added another two. Not to be deigned Vikings struck back and showed that they had some attacking weapons as well. The game flowed from end to end and the final score of seven all was a fitting result to an excellent encounter.
Special mention to Marcus Johnson, Aidan Thurbon, Jarod Watson with cards going to Sam Della Vedova and Hamish Korte.

Under 9 Aqua v Vikings North |
|
Under 9 Aqua continued their winning streak with a find display against Vikings North on 23 June. Aidan Thurbon opened the scoring with a great pick up and run following sustained pressure from the forwards. Tries followed for Oscar Lindsay and Finnegan Osler Seymour. But it was not all one way traffic and without consistent and very committed defence from Jared Watson, Tim Creer and Finn when Vikings made their runs, Vikings could easily have scored more than one before half time. In the second half Aqua became more adventurous - Jared zig-zagged his way through the opposition for a dramatic try, and Finn stole the ball from Tim's arms to score again. Harrison Korte and Sam Della Vedova also made good strong runs and all the forwards supported well. A very strong team performance which showed strength in both defence and attack.

Grammar Aqua V Grammar Blue |
Grammar Aqua and Grammar Blue came together in an early-season clash at home on the prestigious main CGS oval. When Jarod Watson scored early for Aqua with two impressive tries it looked like it was going to be one way traffic. But Blue were able to pass the ball around and used their fast running backs
to get two tries themselves. Oscar Lindsay and Tim Creer both crossed the line again for Aqua, and all worked hard in a sustained period of defence
which unfortunately ended in a try for Blues on the half time whistle. There were some superb pieces of play in the second half with Finnegan Osler
Seymour and Tim making great long distance runs, and Josh Dowse with try-saving tackles. Final score 6-4 to Aqua. Men of the match were
Finnegan and Tom Bryson.
