This includes black trousers, long sleeve black tops (shoulders and midriffs are to be covered), black shoes and black socks. No skirts, stockings or high heels are to be worn. No nail polish or make-up. Students are required to accessorise their black clothing with appropriate items in line with the theme of the piece they are performing in. Please make sure that any hats or hair accessories do not obstruct the student's view of the conductor and that they can be secured on the performers head, it is most disconcerting for a performer to have to overcome costume malfunctions. Please ensure all items of costume are clearly named.
